The Ermineskin Education Trust Fund offers services for students from Kindergarten through to Post Secondary.
The In-school/Tutorial Services Program is coordinated by Gloria Stoney. Under this program services offered are the following: Chief Dan Minde Award- Gr.12 Completion; General Interest Award ; Children’s Awards Night; High School Credit Incentive; Special Needs; After School Tutorial; Youth Workshops; Student Support; School Supply Funding (School Fees); Student Tours.
The Adult Continuing Education Program and the Adult Literacy Program are coordinated by Elinor Roan. The Adult Continuing Education Program assists adult students in upgrading to complete high school. The purpose of the Adult Literacy Program is to provide an academic upgrading program for the Ermineskin Community which would integrate the Cree Language and Culture in all programming components. It provides basic education (Gr.1-6) and Basic Continuing Education (Gr.7-9) to adult learners.
Post Secondary Student Support Program is coordinated by Fran P. Ermineskin. The PSSSP provides sponsorship and support services to eligible Ermineskin Tribal member students who are registered in and are attending a post secondary institution. Our library carries an array of calendars from Institutions across Canada.
Other services offered are computer use and library use. We have a computer in the library that students can access for their studies. We also have a library which students can have access to. Access hours are during the regular working hours of Ermineskin Education Trust Fund which are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
